Learn the Basics/Understand the Process

The Export Reform Webinar will discuss many of the changes that will go into effect in October 2013. These changes will affect the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Munitions List (USML) as well as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Commerce Control List (CCL). Many of the items currently on the USML will migrate to the CCL. Understanding whether your products meet the new definition will determine whether you will continue to get a license from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) or the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). We will also briefly discuss the possible use of license exceptions that may be available.
